Doin the Hokey Pokey

you put your right foot out,
in, out, in, out,
shake it all about,
You do the Hokey Pokey
and you turn yourself around,
THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!"
Hmmm - sounds like what I do when the bathwater is too hot!!!
But Isn't life like that? you put one foot forward, and typically you pull it right on back, and end up doing all sorts of contortions till you end up in a spin.
Or is the Hokey Pokey just about being silly????? Doing all sorts of nonsense just for fun??? Hmmm - there's something to that...
I think my "old way" of doing this dance in life was the former version - yup - just keep on goin nowhere and stopping before I got any momentum going. Ending up frustrated and spinning my wheels...
Well, NO MORE I SAY!
My life will be devoted to FUN! Silliness! Laughter! Doing the Hokey Pokey with all my heart.
See ya onthe dance floor!

I’m loving the whole notions of dance, prance, and enhance your whole being. Yes!
A friend here in Michigan………….just opened a lil place to get people dancin……she teaches line dancing. I am so happy for her…………she leads such a stressful work life…….I know she must be dancing it away.

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last month.
Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote “The Hokey Cokey,” died peacefully at age 93.
The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in?.. And then the trouble started.
